# Queue Up (whatanimedowewatch.com)

> Free web tool: enter two AniList usernames and it lists the anime both people want to watch (both Planning lists, plus what one has loved and the other wants to see), ranked by how well each title fits both tastes, then picks one with a weighted roll or a seeded bracket, lists comfort rewatches, compares the two tastes, and recommends new anime neither has listed. No account, no login; public AniList lists only.

## Facts worth quoting
- Title catalog: 20,641 anime from the anime-offline-database (manami-project, ODbL v1.0 + DbCL v1.0), dataset dated 2026-07-04; 3,000 title pages (149 indexable): the 3,000 titles with the most demand (ln(1 + tag count) × median score) among the 6,775 that pass the quality gate (TV/film/ONA/OVA, finished or airing, 1990+, 3+ tags, median score ≥ 6.5); 84 lists.
- Lists are read live from AniList's public API when a pair presses Go and cached at most 20 minutes; the title catalog never comes from AniList (its terms forbid using the API as a data store).
- Both AniList profiles must have public lists (AniList: Settings → Account → Privacy); the tool cannot see private lists.
- Ranking: tier weight (both want it > one loved it, the other wants it > new to one of you > finish it together) × taste fit (geometric mean of each person's cosine match) × quality ((score/100)² × min(1, log10(popularity)/5)).
- Every title page's 'watch it together' verdict comes from published rules over format, length and tags, and names the rule.
- Privacy: no cookies, no accounts, aggregate feature counts only; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control honoured.
